Disney-Great-Movie-Ride

When Lynn and I visited the Disney Hollywood Studios for the first time, we remembered the model of a camel, near to the entrance, which constantly sprayed out a small amount of water, from its mouth as unsuspecting visitors walked by.  You can imagine the hilarious, confusion this caused, but once found out we all had a good laugh, it was very subtle and looking back it broke the ice, Disney is like that full of surprises.

I remember vividly the Great Movie Ride in Hollywood Studios; the ride is a very ingenious attraction and is a testament to Disney Imagineers. Disney creates very authentic real life automatons, the movie ride includes a gangster type street shoot out where you are caught in the middle of a fierce stream of bullets, don’t worry its all down to special audio and visual affects. James Cagney and John Wayne are tow of the figures which you may see in the attraction, not sure now which year this was, but I’m sure you will enjoy the theme park.

I looked down at the many hand a and feet images in Hollywood Studios where famous actors and actresses have immortalized their names in Hollywood concrete, John Denver, who I enjoyed as a unique country and western and thoughtful singer songwriter is framed here in time for all to see.

Indiana Jones and the temple of Gloom is reenacted a couple of times per day in Disney Hollywood Studios, it’s a real exciting stunt show where fast cars pyrotechnics and death defying car stunts are performed right in front of your eyes. You may just be lucky and be asked by the casting Director if you would like to play a part in this interesting behind the scenes display of film special affect production.

Casablanca, play it again Sam, Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, yes here to look at the pictures it will give you an overview of this interesting Disney attraction. Can you imagine what Disney will be like in another forty years, the mind boggles when you think about it?

There is only one word that comes close to accurately describing the enchanting Mary Poppins, and that term was coined by the movie itself: supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Even at 2 hours and 20 minutes, Disney’s pioneering mixture of live action and animation (based on the books by P.L. Travers) still holds kids spellbound. Annie (Special Anniversary Edition)

Charmless and dull, this adaptation of the Broadway hit stars Aileen Quinn as the depression-era moppet, Albert Finney as Daddy Warbucks, Carol Burnett as the cruel headmistress at an orphanage, and Tim Curry as a villain. The film never gets its legs, and there is no sense of setting; it’s almost as if the whole thing is happening in a void. John Huston nominally directed–no doubt to make money …
